WORKING TOWARDS A BETTER TOMORROW.
FACT OR FICTION?
Handling stress is not something a lot of people really understand how to do. Stress over takes your body very slowly. Stress is an unforeseen killer of your body and can leave you drained, and in search of oxygen of life.
Stress free is a phrase that we all should keep at the top of our list of everyday hassles and accomplishments. Top of the list you say? Yes, if you in your mind say I want to have a good day with less stress than the day before. You will accomplish this by changing how you live your life and how you react to situations that come up in your life.
Let us start out looking at this in a way that you
most of the time wouldn’t. 911 how may I help you? Help, my house is
on fire, my cat is stuck inside, and I can’t find my son. Mam/sir is
anyone hurt? What I just told you what the problem was and what is
my problem. Mam/sir- help is on the way, are you hurt? No I am not
hurt, how long does it take to get help around here? Why has no one
showed up yet? Mam/sir help is on the way, please calm down, I
understand your feelings. Okay that was a brief 911 reaction call.
If you were sitting at a desk, listening to all calls that came into
the police station, knowing when you went to work you were tired,
maybe little hungry, agitated because someone else in your life has
you upset; could you stay calm and help others that you cannot see?
Stress is at all levels of life.
Handling stress sounds good, seems to be easy when
you talk about it. Yet, when you try to manage it, it can be very
hard. Here are a few good tips. Relax yourself; don’t let every
little thing that pops up in your life throw you around mentally
like basketball. Stop and evaluate the problem, before reacting in a
manner you didn’t think you would. Listen to your inner being. If
you have a problem, God speak to someone. Do not hold things in,
this will only cause you to boil over in the future. Give yourself
some free time, mentally and physically. Just because someone yells,
talks loud; doesn’t mean they are upset at you. Things happen in
life we have no control over. Yet, you have control over what
happens to you mentally and physically 98% of the time.
The last thing, you want to do is burn out and allow those situations around you to cause you ill thoughts. Stay positive, smile and laugh. Pace yourself, sit down write out what you are going to do for the next day before you go to bed, include what you want to do. If what you want to do doesn’t happen that day, add it to the next day. Do not let it add up past 4 days. You may find that you accomplish a lot, have fun, and stay focused. Each body and soul is different, yet, we all have the same type of desire to stay stress free.
We as a group of well rounded individuals express upon you the delight of being free, and full or life for the common good. We have expressed upon you our ability to work together.
